David is a digital marketing champion, business owner and big-picture advocate

David has built his expertise from a diverse career, starting with an economics degree before jumping into all things web in the late 90s. He worked on the website development side of things for some time, then followed his interest to the marketing department; founding the origins of Rocket Agency in 1999 together with James Lawrence and Garry Viner. Rocket has won a suite of awards over the years, including Google Premiere Partner Awards, SEMRush Awards, Search Engine Land and many more.

Today, David is Rocket's Managing Director and known for his ability to find clarity in the bigger picture. He is highly respected as a digital marketing authority, sharing his expertise with an extensive network here in Australia and around the world.

 

JAMES LAWRENCE

James is the guy who markets the marketers, so you know he’s good.

James gained a Bachelor of Communications and a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) at the University of Technology Sydney before building an impressive business and career in the digital marketing space. Since co-founding Rocket Agency in 2006, James has worked closely with clients on thousands of successful campaigns. You name it – he’s seen it, tested it and mastered it: from PPC to split testing to the latest SEO techniques. What he doesn’t know about digital marketing simply isn’t worth knowing.
